The Independence Knights basketball team (Frisco, TX), was overwhelmed 52-8 in Friday's league battle with the host Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX)
The Redhawks now possess a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Memorial for a 5A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Liberty will battle a Warriors team coming off a 66-32 league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 18-10.
The Knights (1-18) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes come into the 5A Region II District 10 battle with a 13-14 record. In their last battle, Heritage trounced Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 37-33, in a league battle.
