    The Iola Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Wellsville Eagles to 55 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

    The Mustangs now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe Trail for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.

    The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Baldwin (Baldwin, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Baldwin edged Louisburg (Louisburg, KS), 52-31, in a non-league contest.
