The Kermit Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Presidio Blue Devils to 30 in the Yellow Jackets league victory on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Compass Academy for a 3A Region I District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Kermit will battle a team coming off a 45-28 league win over Tornillo (Tornillo, TX). The record now stands at 2-12.

The Blue Devils (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alpine (Alpine, TX). The Bucks come into the 3A Region I District 4 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Alpine triumphed over Kermit (Kermit, TX), 52-44, in a league contest.
