The Union County Fightin' Tigers basketball team (Lake Butler, FL), was overwhelmed 56-17 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL)

The Hornets now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bell for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16.

The Fightin' Tigers (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Williston (Williston, FL). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Williston was overwhelmed by Trenton (Trenton, FL), 48-46, in a league battle.
