The Lakeville South Cougars basketball team (Lakeville, MN), was routed 70-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN)

The Panthers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a AAAA Section 1 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Lakeville North will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-63 non-league loss to Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-11.

The Cougars (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Rosemount trounced Shakopee (Shakopee, MN), 50-27, in a non-league battle.
