The Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 56-39 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Mustangs go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Midland Christian went down by Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX), 52-34, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Midland Christian for a TAPPS 5A District 1 test on Tuesday, January 16. Southwest Christian School will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 36-34 league loss to Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-9.
