The Logan County Cougars tipped the visiting Todd County Central Rebels basketball team by a final score of 55-53 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 16. Logan County will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.

With the defeat, Todd County Central moves to 11-6 on the year. The Rebels host Russellville (Russellville, KY) to face the Panthers in a District 13 game on Friday, January 19. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 1-10.
