Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 58-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Longview upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Lobos host Tyler (Tyler, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 21-9. Tyler won 71-58 in their recent league bout against Texas (Texarkana, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record.
