The Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES basketball team (Mount Carmel, PA), was overwhelmed 60-33 in Friday's league battle with the host Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA)
The Lancers now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Columbia Area for a Heartland III battle on Tuesday, January 16. Loyalsock Township will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-13 league loss to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
The RED TORNADOES (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Spartans come into the Heartland III battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Hughesville trounced Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA), 50-39, in a league battle.
