The Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) basketball crushed the host McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS), 57-35 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 5 test with a 6-12 record.
The Tigers now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Enterprise for a 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 16. McLaurin will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-32 league loss to Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-10.
