Mynderse Academy Blue Devils (Seneca Falls, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Mynderse Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Waterloo (Waterloo, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Waterloo won 69-15 in their recent non-league bout against Avon (Avon, NY)

Next up, the Screaming Eagles play the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Midlakes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
