California High School Basketball - Oakmont ripped by Ponderosa

January 12, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682

The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Oakmont Vikings to 29 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Park for a Foothill Valley contest on Wednesday, January 17. Ponderosa will meet a Panthers team coming off a 54-51 league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-7.

The Vikings (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras enter the Foothill Valley contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln triumphed over Placer (Auburn, CA), 48-33, in a league contest.
