Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA), 41-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Overlake upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Owls travel to King's (Seattle, WA) to play the Knights in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Turks play the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Sultan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
