South Carolina High School Basketball - Palmetto overwhelmed by Wren

The Palmetto Mustangs basketball team (Williamston, SC), was routed 66-20 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC)

The Hurricanes now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridge View for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Wren will battle a Blazers team coming off a 56-48 league win over Irmo (Columbia, SC). The Blazers record now stands at 10-6.

The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Fury come into the AAA Region 2 battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Fountain Inn trounced Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 74-57, in a league battle.
