Utah High School Basketball - Provo ripped by Payson

The Payson Lions basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Provo Bulldogs to 35 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timpanogos for a 4A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Payson will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 56-39 league loss to Mountain View (Orem, UT). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-10.
The Bulldogs (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes enter the 4A Region 8 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Uintah was routed by Orem (Orem, UT), 45-42, in a league contest.
