Texas High School Basketball - Queen City crushes Pewitt

Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 68-7 in a league bout.
With the win, Queen City upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to play the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rabbits go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Atlanta won 71-28 in their recent league bout against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)
Next up, the Brahmas play the Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Pewitt will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 22-4 record after their 71-28 league win over New Boston (New Boston, TX).
