The Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) basketball crushed the host Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), 78-35 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Eagles go into the 2A District 4 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Holy Savior Menard walloped Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA), 56-41, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Oakdale for a 2A District 4 test on Tuesday, January 16. Pickering will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 55-46 league win over Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 20-5.
