The Plymouth Big Red basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders to 23 in the Big Red league triumph on Friday.

The Big Red now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Central for a Firelands contest on Saturday, January 13. Plymouth will battle a Trojans team coming off a 57-47 league win over Mapleton (Ashland, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.

The Roughriders (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Flyers enter the Firelands contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, St. Paul was defeated by Vermilion (Vermilion, OH), 44-12, in a non-league contest.
