The Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK), 60-39 in Friday's league test.
The Indians (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Wolves go into the Black Diamond test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Heavener was trounced by Spiro (Spiro, OK), 56-32, in a non-league test.
The Diggers now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Warner for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Wilburton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 32-23 league loss to Central (Sallisaw, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 10-1.
