Virginia High School Basketball - Quantico topples Tandem Friends

In Friday's league outing, the Quantico Warriors (Quantico, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), by a margin of 24-16.
The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks go into the VISAA Division II outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Highland was topped by Wakefield School (The Plains, VA), 33-27, in a league outing.
The Badgers now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Randolph-Macon Academy for a Greater Piedmont outing on Thursday, January 18. Tandem Friends will clash with a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 65-12 non-league win over King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-2.
