Arizona High School Basketball - Thatcher tipped by Sabino

The Sabino Sabercats basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Thatcher Eagles to 43 in the Sabercats league triumph on Friday.

The Sabercats now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Verde for a 3A South contest on Wednesday, January 17.

The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks enter the 3A South contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Tanque Verde was nudged by Safford (Safford, AZ), 51-21, in a league contest.
