The Soda Springs Cardinals (Soda Springs, ID) basketball crushed the host West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), 63-21 in Friday's league test.
The Cardinals (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Bears go into the 2A South East Idaho test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Bear Lake walloped Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID), 50-41, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Malad for a 2A South East Idaho test on Thursday, January 18. West Side will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 72-34 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID). The Dragons record now stands at 15-2.
