South Bronx Prep Cougars (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stevenson Ambassadors (Bronx, NY), 83-10 in a league bout.

With the win, South Bronx Prep upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Albany (Albany, NY) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Albany won 61-51 in their recent league bout against Colonie Central (Albany, NY)

Next up, the Ambassadors play the Evander Childs Tigers (Bronx, NY) in a PSAL AAA Bronx bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 45-26 league loss to KIPP NYC College Prep (New York, NY).
