St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), 55-28 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Pius X Catholic upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Golden Lions travel to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Pebblebrook Falcons (Mableton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. South Cobb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 57-29 non-league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA).
