The Waverly Bulldogs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Southern Coffey County Titans to 20 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 17. Waverly will battle a Wolves team coming off a 60-28 non-league win over Burlingame (Burlingame, KS). The Wolves record now stands at 9-1.

The Titans (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burlingame (Burlingame, KS). The Bearcats come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Burlingame was routed by Lebo (Lebo, KS), 60-28, in a non-league contest.
