The Stigler Panthers tipped the host Talihina Golden Tigers basketball team by a final score of 39-34 in Friday's league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sallisaw for a non-league battle on Monday, January 15. Stigler will battle a Black Diamonds team coming off a 76-33 league loss to Stilwell (Stilwell, OK). The Black Diamonds record now stands at 4-9.
The Golden Tigers (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Clayton (Clayton, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 3-12 record.
