James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 33-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, James Madison upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Warhawks host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Oakton lost 21-18 in their recent non-league bout against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Westfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 35-13 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA).
