Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brooks (North Andover, MA), 26-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pingree upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Highlanders host Austin Prep (Reading, MA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the clash with the Tabor Academy Seawolves (Marion, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Brooks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
