Virginia High School Basketball - Mountain View can't hold off Central Woodstock

The Central Woodstock Falcons basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Mountain View Generals to 40 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuarts Draft for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Central Woodstock will battle a Cougars team coming off a 30-29 non-league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-8.
The Generals (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Clarke County nudged Madison County (Madison, VA), 62-11, in a non-league contest.
