Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), 31-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Foard upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers host North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. East Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
