North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 31-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Valleys upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Panthers host Portola (Portola, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Portola lost 46-3 in their recent non-league bout against Modoc (Alturas, CA)

Next up, the Railroaders play the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 43-22 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
