With the victory, Porter-Gaud upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Cardinal Newman won 16-12 in their recent non-league bout against Hammond (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Pinewood Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
