The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Watauga lost 64-47 in their recent non-league challenge against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC)

Next up, the Huskies play the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Ashe County will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 60-15 non-league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC).
