Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 60-15 in a league bout.
With the win, Phoenix Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Firebirds host Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
Next up, the Wolves play the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Bethany will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 55-46 non-league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC).
