Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT), 53-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cedar Valley upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Aviators host Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT) to play the Dons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Spanish Fork won 68-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Salem Hills (Salem, UT)

Next up, the Wasps play the Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Wasatch will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 68-64 non-league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
