Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets (Marriottsville, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD), 65-64 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chapelgate Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Indian Creek lost 59-36 in their recent league bout against Severn School (Severna Park, MD)

Next up, the Saints play the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
