With the win, Corning upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Las Plumas won 49-41 in their recent league bout against Orland (Orland, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Oroville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 41-26 league loss to Orland (Orland, CA).
