The Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) basketball nipped the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), 56-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (7-1) will now prepare for their test against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, North Henderson got by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 48-42, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16.
