Virginia High School Basketball - Floyd County can't hold off Glenvar

The Glenvar Highlanders basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes to 62 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Friday.
The Highlanders now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Glenvar will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-24 non-league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-1.
The Buffaloes (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Radford edged James River (Buchanan, VA), 73-6, in a non-league contest.
