The Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) basketball knocked off the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 39-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hawks (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record.
The Governors now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Altavista for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16.
