The Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA), 48-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Sherando was tipped by Skyline (Front Royal, VA), 58-30, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host James Wood for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16.
