New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meadowbrook Colts (Byesville, OH), 41-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Lexington upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-0. KIPP Columbus won 41-40 in their recent non-league bout against Madison Plains (London, OH)

Next up, the Colts clash with the Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Meadowbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
