Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) and the host Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), saw Northside - Pinetown's basketball squad knock off Southside by a count of 59-51.

With the victory, Northside - Pinetown upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Jones (Trenton, NC) to play the Trojans in a challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Jones lost 73-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC)

Next up, the Seahawks play the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record.
