Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), 65-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pershing County upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to play the Falcons in a bout on Saturday, January 13. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost 41-26 in their recent league bout against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV)

Next up, the Nighthawks play the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Silver Stage will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
