Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS), 58-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Simpson Academy upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Cougars host Lamar (Meridian, MS) to play the Raiders in a bout on Tuesday, January 16.
