Next, the Rams confront the Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Vardaman will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record.

The Wildcats now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coahoma County for a 1A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Independence will confront a Red Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Independence (Independence, MS). The Red Panthers record now stands at 0-9.
