Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Port Neches-Groves will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Crosby (Crosby, TX).
The Bears now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jasper for a 4A Region 3 District 17 challenge on Friday, January 26.
