The Johnson Pumas basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Goode STEM Academy Knights to 36 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Pumas now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hansberry for a Noble game on Monday, January 13. Johnson will play a Bengals team coming off a 54-48 league win over Rowe-Clark (Chicago, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Goode STEM Academy falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Chicago Collegiate (Chicago, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Lions go into the game with a record of 0-6. Chicago Collegiate lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Juarez (Chicago, IL)
