Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), saw Tuscarora's basketball squad knock off Lightridge by a count of 57-44.

With the victory, Tuscarora upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host Dominion (Sterling, VA) to play the Titans in a Dulles challenge on Friday, January 21. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Bolts play the Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) in a Dulles challenge, on Friday, January 14. Lightridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 79-47 league win over Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA).
