Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) and the visiting Effingham Flaming Hearts (Effingham, IL), saw Paris's basketball squad overcome Effingham by a tally of 55-44.
With the victory, Paris improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL) to confront the Salukis in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 15. The Salukis come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Red Hill lost 68-11 in their recent league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, IL)
Next up, the Flaming Hearts confront the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 17. Effingham will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Orphans come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 54-14 league win over Cahokia (Cahokia, IL).
